The Workshop consists of two elements: Qigong, Meditation and other energy work of Mantak Chia’s Tao Yoga on the one hand. The focus is on self-healing methods like Inner Smile, Microcosmic Orbit, Golden Pearl and some exercises of “Buddha Palm”. The second element on the other hand presents Tantric encounters orientated on contact with other participants and the group as a whole.

These activities are inspired by tantric traditions and the focus is on touch, sensuality and blissful experience. Health and bliss will be brought together. The participants are encouraged to regard touch, sexuality and arousal energy as their inner power and a basis for health, well-being, vitality and a joyful life.They will learn through the Tao Yoga how to promote health and wellness in using these often hidden body energies.

There will be silence, guided meditations and energy work connected with the Dances of Universal Peace from different cultures and music and singing. We will spend much time in nature. We will share together and yet reserve much time for ourselves. We invite you – young or old, healthy or sick, woman or man – to Samos at the sea.

There will be opportunity for individual conversations.

Groupleaders: Anagama Renate Bürger, a psychotherapist with many years experience in energy work and meditation. She works with people with chronic diseases or handicaps, gives individual and group sessions and she is a dance leader. Moni Hoffmeister, an anthroposophic music therapist, makes music with children and adults, and creates her own songs.

Exploring Feldenkrais and Tai Chi within sight and sound of the sea is a wonderful way to discover new opportunities of sensing, feeling and action. This large island offers diversity-waterfalls within canyons, beautiful beaches and both fishing and mountain villages.

Get the mind reset, strengthen the connection to the heart and sink for a week of pleasure and nourishment.
We let the sun and the sun-ripened, fresh and nutritious Greek diet nourish our body and mind.

This week is a mix of nourishing experience, small exercises and meditating Qi Gong.
The week has a day’s program and a single day off.
Every morning starts at. 8.00 with an opportunity for a walk in the sea and then Qi Gong in the hall or out in the nature 🙂

At 9 am, Stelios serves a wonderful Greek morning buffet with fresh and organic dishes.

Between 10 – 12 we make various forms of energy work.
It can be healing, massage or teaching understanding the body with emotional zones, releasing blockages and energy, all that brings us closer to our heart.

Then there is lunch break until 11.00. Ca. 16.00, where we work a few hours and finish the day with a longer meditation.

During breaks between 12 – 16 you will be able to have lunch, go to Karlovassi and shop, or just go down to the beach and enjoy a swim in the sea or sit in the sun.
You can also book a treatment for either Kranio Sacral, Shiatsu, Shaman Healing, Massage or Lymphatic Massage.

We have rented cars waiting for us at the airport, and every day I go to a special place where we taste local dishes run by sweet Greek families.
A trip to a “waterfall” through a small gorge excursion to the most beautiful healing beach of Ballos on the other side of the island.
A dinner in the mountains under huge big plane trees.

An excursion to the beautiful and touristy Kokkari and not least a dirt into the square in Karlovassi, which is just 10 min from where we live.
These excursions are just offers. If you prefer to stay on the spot and feel calm, feel free to do so.

You have to stay at Villa Eva, a wonderful place right on the Mediterranean Sea overlooking Turkey on the other side of the sea. Villa Eva is located just outside a small town, but close to one of the island’s most famous and used fishing restaurants. Family has owned this fish restaurant “Sofia” for several generations, and everything that is served is just up the sea if it is fish and squid.

Give yourself a late summer week in Greece – the very best season where the heat is replaced by pleasantly straight-forward warm weather; the water is warm and soft;

We arrange a trip to Ocea Retreat (www.ocearetreat.com), which lies beautifully on the north coast of the eagle directly out to the sea. Stelios, which has the place, serves delicious breakfasts in the open pavilion – Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, homemade bread, jam, cheese, coffee and tea.

There is currently much talk about what the meaning of our lives is – both at the personal and the greater societal level, is there any meaning at all? And can you find it if it’s gone? Is meaning the same as happiness? And can one find meaning with life if one does not believe in a greater divine meaning? Or the other way around?

The concept for this week is that we invite you to share and give what you have at heart and are passionate about: “What is the meaning?” – it can be a presentation, a personal life-loving, an exercise, a body work, a play – almost anything that highlights and is your comment / contribution to the question.

Your contribution may have a bodily, mental, physical and / or philosophical basis.
You have 2-3 hours at your disposal during the week, and you must answer “yes” to the following:
– you must burn for yourself what you want to convey to the group;
– your dissemination must be experience-oriented – ie You must involve the group in some form of activity / cohabitation;
– your “fuel” must relate to psychological / bodily / philosophical / psycho-therapeutic areas, within this framework you decide;
– If there are more “hot spots” than there are mornings / afternoons, we choose and put together the program, which hi think it becomes the most relevant and / meaningful.

The structure becomes such that every day there is breakfast at. 9-10, then a bodily program at. 10-11.
Kl. 11-13 there is morning program, kl. 13-16 lunch and afternoon break for bathing, city trip, hike, talk together, relax, be alone, write in book – just as one desires.
Kl. 16-19 there is afternoon program, and then the evening is free to go out and eat dinner etc.

We are planning a day off in the middle of the week, where we invite you on a wonderful trip to a secret waterfall up in the mountains, morning coffee under the plane trees in a cozy little mountain town, and an afternoon on the most beautiful beach on the south coast.

We rent cars so we can easily get around and visit different places on the island and make our purchases.

You live in a single room – or share an apartment with 1-2 others, where you have a shared kitchen and bathroom.

THE WEEK’S PROGRAM AND TEACHING

Otherwise, the days are spent on their own or with joint activities. Here is the time to go on excursions around the island, visit the nearby town of Karlovassi, relax at your own pace, walk in the beautiful scenery, swim in the sea, eat good food, reflect on life, read books and enjoy the wind and the sun. You create the week for yourself, completely as you like.

The teaching takes place in a wonderful yoga hall overlooking the sea. The teaching is based on:
– Asanas: Physical yoga exercises based on Sivanandayoga / hatha yoga
– Pranayama: Breathing exercises
– Savasana: Relaxation

WHERE SHALL WE LIVE?

Samos is said to be one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. Mountainous and green with beaches and breathtaking cliffs surrounded by turquoise sea. We live right where heaven and sea meet at Stelios and Elina in Villa Eva, located far away from noise and noise on Samos’ north coast four kilometers away from the town of Karlovassi. It is a small wonderful family run place right on the Mediterranean with a view of Turkey. There is sunrise to one side and sunset to the other, overlooking the bay and 50 meters to the nearest beach. Five minutes walking brings you to another small beach. We are often the only people on the rocky beaches. We usually have Villa Eva for ourselves. Maybe there are a few other guests. Otherwise, there is most peace and quiet. They are small apartments and the rooms are all decorated differently. There is either its own small kitchen and toilet / bath in the room, or two rooms share a common small kitchen and toilet / bath. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking either the sea or the garden. You can choose to stay alone or share a room with one or two others. The beautiful surroundings help nourish your soul and create peace of mind, and you can just sit back, breathe freely and let yourself fill up.

WHAT ARE EARLY PARTICIPANTS?

The yoga stay at Samos is a great opportunity to strengthen your body, stretch your muscles and get the oxygen cells. Through yoga, breathing exercises and meditation, my body was ready to go autumn in full of energy. Sitting on the rocks in the morning red and meditating is wonderful. The place is magical. Silence. Just toes and tranquility. Lovely to stay on the edge of the sea and watch the rhythms of the day and night. Christina is a super-inspiring teacher who moves far beyond yoga with simple and different ways to view herself and the approach to life. The size of the team is perfect. Big enough that I felt like a part of a bunch, where I could disappear a little if I wanted it – and at the same time small enough that I could understand the individual and get to know some of them quite well. Anyone should give himself a breathhole of this kind once in a while. It was truly amazing.

I felt very comfortable and accommodated in Christina’s presence, and there was always room to approach her, whether it be yoga, the body or the mental. This year we will organize the Sufi holidays for the 13th time in Greece – this time on Samos. The island is located in the Aegean Sea not far from the Turkish coast. The idea is again to go on vacation to a beautiful, inspiring oceanfront place with plenty of leisure time to relax and have time with the group – for dancing, singing, healing, spiritual walks and other Sufi exercises.

If you want, start the day at sunrise with body, breathing and sound exercises and meditation and finish it at sunset with singing, making music and telling Sufi stories. In between there are joint dance meetings, but also a long free period without a program.

We live in a seminar center, which is located directly on the beach – overlooking the sea. Surrounded and connected to the elements, with sun, wind, sand, rocks, sea and stars, this place offers all possibilities for relaxation, swimming and hiking. Trips to the Turkish west coast are also possible.
